- Allows entry of information (Customer,
vehicle, insurance, and work requested) into the computer in
a user-friendly way. Forms a work order and, if needed, a State
Inspection record. You can view a work order by clicking HERE or going to the Reporting Page.
- Allows the printing of the State Inspection
form pages at any time on ordinary 8 1/2 x 11 copy paper. You
can view this form by clicking HERE or going to the Reporting
Page.
- With our optional scanner, data from
a scanned owners registration card can automatically be entered
into the program.

- If an inspection is being done, all
fields are checked for compliance with appropriate regulations,
error (and warning) messages are displayed, and the system
will not allow a sticker to be assigned until all errors have
been corrected.
- Keeps track of all inspection stickers
and displays the next available sticker number when the vehicle
has passed inspection and a sticker needs to be issued.
- Stores all information entered in a
work order file and records that have been completed (passed
or failed) are also store in the State Inspection Record file.
- Allows quick and easy lookup of any
inspection record (or work order) by a number of search options
- Including VIN, license plate, customer name, used work order
number, sticker number, emission sticker number, inspection
number, and fleet number.
- Allows VIN decoding to better aid the
maintenance technician in ordering parts.
- Allows record of emission stickers issued
to customers and provides a report of all used.
- Many drop-down windows to select dates,
insurance companies, measurements, etc to further reduce typing
time and make entry easier.
- The report program that comes with SIR
provides a series of different reports to aid the Quality Assurance
officers during an audit and provide info bundling to the station
owner.

THE
USER INTERFACE IS SIMPLE, USING 8 PANELS TO EFFICIENTLY ENTER
ALL DATA REQUIRED. CHOOSE A PANEL TO VIEW

- Tabsheets are used to bring the user
to the right screen series: ADD WORK ORDER/INVOICE. SIR, DIAGNOSTICS,
STICKER, STICKER RESULTS, & STATION.
- The drop-down menus allow the user to
go to customer, labor and parts, backup and auto-backup, tabsheets,
help manual, and various printing options.
- The control buttons above the panel
screens control FIRST, PREVIOUS, NEXT, and LAST record display,
as well as the program's search features and a variety of printing
options and editing.
- Our program's backup feature allows
data backup to any designated drive or removable drive such
as a Jumpdrive, Zipdrive, or CD. The CD must be preset and
recognized as a formatted Windows drive first. Backup to floppy
will work until file size exceeds 1.4meg.
- Our program's auto-backup feature is
very similar to the backup program except that data backup
is timed and done automatically. Locations can be varied as
in the backup program. Self-deleting of old data can be regulated
by date or number of entries.

- A blank work order can
be printed at any time to provide the technician a form to
write on which can then be later entered into the program.
- The invoice can be set to display items
costs or not. We give you the option to display itemized invoices
or not. Reminder comments can be displayed at the bottom of
the invoice. You
